Never Too Old For Dental Implants In Vietnam

Our names are Nguyen Uy Linh and Nguyen Thi Thanh (aged 83 and 73). We have a daughter becoming an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon who recommended us to go back to Vietnam to have our dental care done. Even she noted that she did the treatment for free, the cost of the Dental Specialist to complete the new teeth on Implants would be more than $100.000 USD. Our friends in Vancouver said that even we were too old for dental implants.

So we went to Vietnam and had a total together 18 dental implants done.

My case is considered very complicated.  Part of the reason is that I am 83 years old and my condition required a lot of surgery.  My daughter is an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon and the Chief Resident at University of Minneoapolis.  She graduated with NYU and had kept reminding me to get my dental condition sorted out.

In the past I had to seen three different doctors and I was told it would a cost about 100.000 USD.

I wanted to wait  for my daughter to do my treatment but because of the complexity, she recommended to fly to Vietnam for treatment.

Dr. Andrew performed bone grafting and placed 10 dental implants. Even on the first trip, temporary teeth were made – Teeth in a Day.  The total procedure involved the minimal level of intervention to quickly provide new teeth at the most savings of fewest implants required to rebuild the mouth.

I am so happy for my teeth.  I waited more than 50 years to have teeth and now feel so blessed to enjoy this quality of life.

We are so thrilled to have beautiful and functional teeth. Our Daughter, Dr. Reyna Nguyen now in Minnesota, USA is thrilled also of the outcome. Our cases were so complex and we didn’t think we could even have dental implant surgery done.

We look forward to an even better retirement enjoying smiling and eating with our grandchildren.  Who says when you are too old you can’t have dental implants done.
