Westcoast Ran for Terry Fox

Categories: In the community

On Sunday 27th November 2011, our team at Westcoast has participated in the “Marathon of Hope” named Terry Fox. The event took place in Crescent area of District 7. A lot of people from different countries such as Canada, England, Australia, Germany, etc. joined Terry Fox run to help raise money for cancer research. Everyone just ran and even danced together.

It was surprising to see that not even young adults came to take part in the Marathon but they also brought their little children with them. Anyone could run, walk or roller skate all together with the belief to have a world without cancer.

At Westcoast, we believe an ideal life is a life full of joy and happiness. This is the reason why we have been trying so hard to bring the “smile” to everyone despite of their social class, race or age. Westcoast team was proud to contribute a small part of our effort for this activity for a good cause.

Here are some pictures of the Westcoast team at Terry Fox run:

We are looking forward to take part in Terry Fox Run in 2012!
